Critics have been raving about his performance in Martin Scorsese's new film The Irishman.
After the film's Netflix release earlier this week, Joe Pesci, 76, shared a new album of lounge jazz standards, Still Singing, co-produced with Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine.
The 40-year-old pop singer shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the recording sessions Friday.
Collaborators: Adam Levine, 40, shared intimate behind-the-scenes photos from his recording sessions on Joe Pesci's new jazz album Still Singing. The Oscar winner released his music Friday
Adam first shared a photo of himself deep in thought at the mixing board with Joe hunched over to his side.
The former Voice coach was dressed casually in a gray T-shirt while the Oscar-winning actor was dressed in a black blazer and a trilby hat.
'When I first heard Joe Pesci sing, I was astonished. I begged him to let me produce a record with him. He finally let me,' Adam captioned the first photo.
'I’m so happy his musical talent is no longer the best kept secret in town. Congrats Mr. Pesci. There’s no better record to put on right now. It feels like the perfect time. And our little duet ain’t so bad either! check it out folks.'
Back at it: Pesci was a professional singer and guitarist long before he took to acting, though his musical career took a backseat as he gained success in Hollywood

Listeners of Still Singing might be surprised at the traditional jazz trappings of the album, as well as Joe's high pitched, delicate voice.
The album is peppered with in-demand jazz musicians, including trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, bassist Christian McBride and drummers Peter Erskine and Vinnie Colaiuta.
A second set of photos shared by Adam on Instagram indicated that the sessions took place over an extended period of time.
'Some great moments from the sessions we’ve had over the last few years,' he wrote in the caption. 'Listening to the album right now. Feels amazing. So happy. It’s an amazing listen all the way.'
